EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CONSULTANT
Hanna Layton
Hanna is a social entrepreneur and the founder and executive director of Thrive Consultancy. She co-founded the non-profit organization Epic-Cure that provides food to people in need while eliminating food waste. Hanna received her Master’s in Sustainable Solutions and a Bachelor’s of Science in Sustainability from Arizona State University. With Thrive she envisions uplifting a more equitable and sustainable economy in Arizona through the use and activation of values-based business models.
CO-DIRECTOR AND CONSULTANT
Huda Khalife
Huda became the executive co-director of Thrive in September 2022. She received her Master of Sustainability Solutions degree, as well as her Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability and Psychology from Arizona State University. She has worked on collaborative projects with communities globally to build socio-economic resilience, well-being, and food sovereignty through sustainability principles and practices. She is passionate about cooperative business as a tool for communities to build back better.

Courtney Talbot
Courtney received her Masters of Sustainability Solutions program at Arizona State University with 15+ years of Accounting experience. During her time at ASU, she focused on ways to advance sustainable business development in Arizona, specifically on how to strengthen and grow the employee ownership economy. She is passionate about helping worker cooperatives achieve their financial goals.

Audrey Mitten-Thomsen
Audrey has worked in the Arizona local food system for several years, and loves uplifting local food and the people who make it. She is passionate about co-op development and community ownership, and believes that the cooperative model can help build healthier, stronger, more equitable communities. She enjoys working with Thrive program participants and providing encouragement and support to the many incredible individuals pursuing cooperative businesses.

Jenna Bryant
Jenna received a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability with a certificate in Sustainable Food Systems from Arizona State University. She is passionate about sustainability in all the interconnected areas of life, from the way we care for the land to the way we nurture our communities. Jenna greatly values working with and learning from the people within Arizona’s vibrant local food system. She loves that Thrive allows her to work with cooperatives and other values-based businesses because of their ability to empower entrepreneurs and strengthen connections in our community.
Samantha Zah
Samantha earned a Master’s in Sustainability Solutions from Arizona State University and is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. She brings experience working alongside tribal and frontline communities in solving sustainability and social justice issues in Arizona and beyond. She enjoys empowering organizations, businesses, and individuals to meet their sustainability goals and is passionate about advancing cooperative and sustainable business models that help create more sustainable communities for the future.
